Last week The OT Practice attended the brilliant Kidz to Adultz South venue in Farnborough, and we thoroughly enjoyed the brand-new venue! We met with many Occupational Therapists looking to learn more about private practice; interested in the opportunities associated with this career choice and the benefits that come with joining us a private OT.
Visiting families came to view the many options available to them as well as getting guidance on the latest regulation changes and available support
Lots of stands showcased the latest equipment and solutions, with the event filled with individuals providing information and guidance for children & young adults with disabilities and additional needs. The OT Practice was available to give further information to families on paediatric OT and the next steps for assessment and support, giving ethical advice to lead them in the right direction for their needs.
The larger space also allowed for more free seminars this year, with a number of free CPD accredited talks taking place ranging from EHCP updates to guidance on flying with a disability. Events like these really benefit an Occupational Therapist looking to boost their CPD portfolio, and we look forward to attending more of these insightful seminars.
If you’re an OT who missed us at the event and would like to speak to us about what a career in private practice looks like, then click here for more information about joining our nationwide network.
Kidz to Adultz Wales & West takes place on Thursday 5th July in Bristol. See more information about the event here.
